Connect Groups.png
Jesus' second ministry was to the twelve disciples who did life with Him. They walked with Him, listened to Him, ministered for Him, and learned from Him. Nine/Tenths of Jesus' ministry was spent with these twelve men. They became a family.

Our connect groups are groups of people who meet weekly around our city for community, discussion of the word, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer.  Connect groups are where connections are made and friendships are developed.  We believe life change happens within the context of a circle of people who do life with you.

The purpose of the Baby Closet at SSBC is to provide baby necessities to families in need. It is a FREE outreach program. It is open the first Saturday of each month from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Each month, families can come and receive a set amount of baby items such as clothing, diapers, wipes, bath supplies, bottles, pacifiers, blankets, etc. We also have large items that vary monthly including baby bath tubs, swings, bouncers, strollers, etc.

The Bible tells us that every life is precious, and we want to meet the needs of both the children and their parents and/or guardians through this ministry.

"I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well." Psalm 139:14

FOOD PANTRY.png
The purpose of the Food Pantry at SSBC is to provide non-perishable food items to both church members and members of the community in need. We stock a wide variety of shelf stable goods. You may pick up a box by calling the church office and requesting one for your family.  If you are in attendance at one of our services, see a member to get a box before you leave.  Our goal with this ministry is to feed God's children.
